  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate bar)
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil, melted (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Soften the dates by covering them with hot water for 10 minutes. Drain.
  2. Blend the softened dates, almond butter, and 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil in a food processor until smooth.
  3. Spread the mixture into a lined loaf pan and freeze for 2-3 hours until firm.
  4. Cut the caramel into squares.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips with the remaining coconut oil in a heat-safe bowl.
