  • Fresh apples, peeled and diced
  • Granulated sugar (for caramel)
  • Unsalted butter (for caramel)
  • Heavy cream (or coconut cream)
  • Vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  4. Gradually mix in dry ingredients with milk until just combined. Fold in diced apples.
  5. Fill each cavity of a greased donut pan two-thirds full with batter.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown; cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
