  • 50 pretzel snaps
  • 50 Kraft’s caramel squares, unwrapped
  • 3 granny smith apples, cored and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ¼ cup finely chopped peanuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup semisweet chocolate chips or dark chocolate melting wafers

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 275°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange pretzel snaps on the tray, spacing them 1 inch apart.
  3. Place a caramel square on each pretzel.
  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes until caramels soften without melting over the edges.
  5. While baking, core and cut apples into 1-inch cubes and soak in lemon juice.
  6. Drain apples and pat dry.
  7. Once out of the oven, press an apple cube onto each caramel.
  8. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe piping bag, then drizzle over the bites.
  9. Optionally sprinkle chopped peanuts on top before cooling completely.
