  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (for dough)
  • 2/3 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon (for coating)
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup whole milk (for dip)
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon.
  2. In another bowl, mix the whole milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined—do not overmix.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to about 350°F (175°C).
