2 lb patty pan squash, cut into uniform pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
Prepare the Squash: Cut the patty pan squash into uniform pieces (halves, quarters, or wedges).
Roasting: Preheat oven to 450°F. Toss squash with olive oil and seasonings in a large bowl. Arrange on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes until tender and golden.
Searing: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear squash cut-side down for 3-5 minutes until golden; flip and repeat.
Grilling: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Toss squash with olive oil and seasonings; grill each piece for 2-3 minutes per side until tender.
Air Frying: Lightly coat squash with olive oil and seasonings; cook in an air fryer at 375°F for about 10 minutes or until crispy.
