  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Crispix cereal and pecans.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter; add brown sugar and corn syrup. Stir until smooth and bring to a boil.
  4. Boil for one minute, then remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda.
  5. Quickly pour the caramel sauce over the cereal mixture and toss until coated.
  6. Spread onto the baking sheet evenly and bake for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool completely before breaking into clusters.
